Can you explain why your rating takes a massive hit when you lose in finals please. I'm regurily getting to finals, sometimes winning all the mini league games getting there but if you lose the final all your previous wins count for nothing as you end up losing more experience points than you've gained from your previous wins. It just seems a bit harsh to me. Cheers.

Sorry I meant Game Rating (click on your name - number next to the word Rating)

Rating shows how your team is currently performing. Rating in this game is based on World Football Elo Ratings (can be checked in wikipedia). The exact formula for calculating your ingame rating to me at least is not known. Obvisouly the higher the rating the better because more fans from both teams will visit your games.

In the beginning of the game you get 1000 rating points then it changes depending on your performance. It increases when you win and goes down when you lose. If the match ended with an even score then both the increase and the decrease of your rating are possible (depends on your opponent).

To increase your rating faster you have to defeat players who have higher rating than you (higher than yourself in the rating table). Also your rating falls fairly low when you lose to a weaker opponent (whos position is lower in the rating table comparing to yours).

In case of your victory in either cup games or friendlies (no matter if its a home or an away game) the portion of rating that you gain equals to the portion of rating that your opponent loses due to his defeat and vice-versa.

Not sure if that helped. Hopefully you will sort it out.
