Tournament update
Hello 11x11 community,

maybe you already noticed it today and in the last days. We needed to check our whole tournament system. For that we talked to admins, moderators, developers and even to a lot of players (also we checked a lot of suggestions in the forums, chat and support tickets).
We checked access levels, price rewards, group/play-off systems and especially the starting times of all mixed and VIP cups.

After this controlling, we organized a new tournament plan, which should lead to a improvement for players and administration. All changes will appear at 3am in the next night (german time).

Improvements for you all:
- better access level management (not too much cups with big access level range i.e. 2-8. Now there are more with a smaller access level range, i.e. 1-3, 4-6, etc.)
- most of the cups got a higher price reward
- entrance fees of VIP cups were decreased
- changed some group stages to play-off rounds
- new tournament starting times should prevent the overfilling of certain cups, which should lead to a more diversified game experience

Improvements for administration:
- with changing the Mixed and VIP cups to International, we can do a better quality management of those cups, as we do not need to do every change in each 11x11 zone. In example if we need to change the price reward or level of a tournament, we needed to coordinate it in each zone. These small changes lead to a big loss of time, which can better be used for new 11x11 features.
Also the change to international should lead to a better fill-up of the different tournaments.

We know, that big changes always can lead to a unfamiliar feeling in the beginning, but we hope, that you all will give the system a chance.
In my personal opinion, these changes are a big improvement of the tournament system.

OK, yesterday you told us your good intentions, we hoped they became true today... I said: "Oh yes they have read my suggestion of decreasing level range in Mixed Cups!!" BUT NOW I'm really shocked about the new mixed cups...
Now there are 4 cups with a bigger level range (Owl-Bowl, Silver Shoe-Bowl, Business-Cup, Atlantic Cup) and 2 cups with a lower level range (University Cup, Midnight Trophy).
Obviously Cup prizes are bigger because of the bigger level range...
In addiction, now all mixed cups are international, so only Vips can access them (and not all vips!).
I understand that you hope there will be more vip purchases (oh my god thousands of Euros!!), but when all of us will be vips, there will be a very big problem!
Before writing that "these changes are a big improvement of the tournament system", look at the cups and think again about them.

NEW: 8 players, level 1-3, every 30'. (now international)

European Beginner's Trophy:
OLD and NEW: 16 players, level 1-4, every 60'. (but now international!!)

European Professional Cup:
OLD: 16 players, level 5-8, every 30'.
NEW: 16 players, level 5-8, every 60'. (now international)

I thought that the "meeting" with admins, players, developers, was more inflexible, but I'm pleased to see that in few minutes you can decide and modify cups.
